.Most of the learners live in Japan, and many of them can speak Japanese to some extent. In addition, we create pairs according to the level of the learner and the volunteer, as well as the learner's requests, so don't worry, we will never pair someone who can't speak Japanese at all with a beginner volunteer.
Nothing in particular. VuiVui had a wide range of volunteers and learners, from people in their 20s and 30s to people in their 70s and 80s.
We believe that not only intercultural exchange but also intergenerational exchange is very important. I'm sure you'll learn a lot, so please feel free to come by.
I believe that the overwhelming majority of learners who come to volunteer circles to learn Japanese are from Asia, and this was the case with VuiVui as well. Occasionally, English-speaking people come, but they come because they want to speak Japanese, so we ask them to speak Japanese in the classroom. I don't have any problems as long as we get along well and speak English outside of the classroom.
.There is nothing special, so please come directly to the venue. Please note that there may be times when the balance between Japanese and foreigners is extremely poor depending on the day.
When you participate for the first time, you will be asked to fill out a simple questionnaire. Please speak to the receptionist sitting near the entrance.
